I'm a Fish

Jamison has been such a blast. He is just so excited about everything right now and he especially is into water whether it be in the pool, dog's bowl, toilet, etc...When we are not out and about you can count on us being in the backyard. He are some more photos of Jammer in Molly's pool.

I was going through like 10 outfits a day and as many swim diapers, I give up, what's the point?

On Monday Josh and I took Jamison to the coolest toddler waterpark. It has all of these water features that spray in all different fashions but there is no standing water so you do not have to worry about the kiddos. Jammer was a little shy but I think he will really get into it the next time we go. Unfortunately the park closes after Labor Day, but this will be a hit next summer when the little man is a bit bigger. The best part of the day was there was a little guy named Connor (21 months) that was so friendly he just walked right up to us and he and Jammer got to pal around. It was really cute. At first Jamison was a little shy but they were hugging and sharing snacks by the end of the day. Little Connor was quite the character, he did not stop talking the entire time but I couldn't understand a word he was saying.

At first Jammer was a little shy, he wanted daddy to carry him.

Meet Connor--see his mouth open. He was so cute. His mom is expecting this month, good luck!

I had to post these because they crack me up, doesn't he look like a lifeguard? This kid is a dentist's dream.

Silly Jammer

Jamison couldn't be more pleased about Molly and about the dog pool we bought her that she won't go near and we can't get him out of. As you all know Jamison likes to be outside pretty much all day which means I haven't even had a cup of coffee before we are out on the back patio. This morning, still in his jammies, Jammer stepped right into Molly's pool. Okay, it is before 8 am, no coffee has been consumed, and Jamison is soaking wet, great! When he stepped out water was coming out of his shoes with each step, it was pretty funny. Jammer has adopted Grandpa Steve's cub scout hat. It is so cute, he likes to wear it everywhere.

Hmm...

Okay, one foot in...

Ah, that feels cool...

Sweet success...

Mom, I'm wet, help!

Meet the Latest Addition...

Meet Molly Black, the newest member of the family. Molly came to us on August 5th from the local SPCA. She is a 1.5 year old lab/??? Maisie, my sister's cat that I have been cat sitting for the last three years is going back with her biological mother in the Bay Area and Jamison loves her so much that we knew we needed a new pet in the house. We thought a dog would be great to accompany us on our walks, hikes, bikes, etc... We vistied Molly three days in a row and thought she was a very special girl. At the shelter all of the dogs are going absolutely crazy barking, jumping, biting, and then there was Molly, shyly sitting in her kennel. We took her on a couple of walks but were not able to introduce her to Jamison before taking her home. Yesterday Jamison came home to his big surprise. He couldn't believe that we now have a "ba." He has been loving her up ever since without any objection by her. He does all the wrong things--hugs her around the neck, pulls her tail, takes her food out of the bowl when she is eating, but she just is so mild mannered. We are all so pleased, oh except of course Maisie. Here are some photos of our new girl.

Hi, I'm Molly!

Penny and Molly are already fast friends.
